The Study on Utilization of Thermography in Oriental Medicine

Abstract

|
|
Utilization of thermography in Oriental Medicine is consisted of two parts; one is the basic study of thermography through Oriental Medical theory, especially through Meridian theory. The other is the practical application of thermcgraphy in Oriental Medical clinics. The aim of the basic study is to detect the Meridian indirectly by means of thermography, that of practical application is to utilize thermography as a tool monitoring many kinds of diseases observed in Oriental Medical clinics. These two ways of thermography in Oriental Medicine can be complemented each other. In the future, more frequent application of thermography in Oriental Medical clinics will help Oriental Medical doctors to standardize or quantitify the severity of diseases.
